CEK’s expert in-house craftsmen can manufacture innovative and contemporary storage solutions to suit all kitchen designs offered by retailers. Our bespoke units are supplied rigid in any shape and size using high-quality traditional glue and dowel methods, with no visible fixings and a seamless end product. Regardless of the shape or size of each bespoke unit, we offer more than 70 traditional and contemporary door styles, available in slab, shaker and curved door styles. Each door can also be finished in premium quality MFC, foil wrapping, veneer, solid wood, high gloss and painted designs.
We have invested heavily in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to improve the efficiency of our operations, whilst maintaining the accuracy and build quality that retailers demand to give their customers the ‘wow factor’. EDGEBANDER
Each panel we manufacture is machine-finished using the Edgebander, ensuring perfect radius edges for anything from 0.3mm PVC to 12mm wood lipping. Its adjustable feed speed and touch-screen monitor allows for efficient operation. The machine’s internet connectivity allows for remote diagnostics and maximum automation. Its glue application system leaves zero lines, while the PUR glue used to seal joints is perfect for water resistant applications.
CNC AUTOMATION
For the most accurate and flawless finish to each bespoke unit, we operate our CNC router machine that is accurate to one thousandth of a millimetre. Its diamond-tipped blades guarantee the cleanest possible cut to the materials and can create beautiful ergonomic curves that transform your customers’ living spaces. The machine’s laser measuring ensures accurate drilling that can be carried out at high speed due to the in-built automation tool.
BEAM SAW
Our state-of-the-art beam saw is the ultimate in cutting technology. Since its installation, our in-house craftsmen have been able to offer retailers faster lead times and greater savings due to improved precision and optimisation. The high-speed saw is capable of cutting multiple panels at once and is accurate to one thousandth of a millimetre. Its multi-function use makes the beam saw suitable for single cuts and full board programs to minimise material waste.
SPECIALISED MACHINERY
All door panels are accurately hinged using our hinge press, with plastic grommets ensuring a more secure fitting. Meanwhile our specialist festool router allows our craftsmen to undertake intricate hand-edging and various bespoke finishes upon request. We also operate a Woodwelder with an in-built R.F. generator, producing radio waves that absorb the moisture from the glue, dramatically reducing drying time between units.
